When Dynea decided to implement Dynamics 365, driven by a broad desire in the organization for a better and more integrated system, they chose to seek professional help from Engage Group to advise and lead the project. Change Manager Ann-Magrit Sommervold shares her experiences.
“As a process industry company, we know that not all ERP systems are rigged to handle complex industrial processes. With Dynamics 365 we get a modern ERP system with CRM and project module integrated. At the same time, we are ready for more integrations in the future, and we get a user friendly interface”, explains Dynea Change Manager Ann-Magrit Sommervold.
The Norwegian company with roots from old Dyno Industrier is a leader in advanced binder solutions and offers a complete range of adhesive systems and additives, as well as offering comprehensive technical service to its customers. They quickly found out that they wanted help optimizing the process.
“We have our main competence as an adhesive supplier to the woodworking industry in Europe, not in project management of IT projects. When we decided to go for a new platform, we engaged Engage Group to manage the implementation of Dynamics 365 and brought them in already in the planning phase. In addition to being our internal project manager, Brita Kristensen from Engage group with long experience also posed from the delivery side. She is well acquainted with the success criteria in such projects and acts as an advisor in relation to how we can better create ownership and enthusiasm around the implementation project, which is provided by Inspirit365”, Ann-Magrit explains.
Dynea has production facilities in Norway, Denmark, and Hungary, as well as rental production in Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, and Austria. They have a total turnover of over NOK 1.2 billion and around 200 dedicated employees. As a production company with rental production throughout Europe, it is important that the implementation of the new ERP platform goes according to plan, both in terms of quality, finances, and time.
