Engage has experience with several different governance models but prefers to work in an agile delivery model with a continuous focus on what gives the business the most value after continuous priorities.
Agile methods in projects provide the opportunity to deliver one step at a time and make rapid changes when required.
This is especially effective in complex deliveries with a higher degree of uncertainty that can affect or where the expected result is unclear from the start.
In these cases, agile methods are critical to meet the business's requirements without exceeding the budget.
Upgrade
Engage has wide experience in transitioning older on-prem Dynamics AX versions to the new Cloud edition Dynamics 365.
Our key steps include: Assessment of the current Dynamics environment, version, modules, customizations, and integrations. We identify potential challenges and risks associated with the upgrade process. It also allows organizations to determine the benefits and new features available in the upgraded version.
Once the assessment is complete, a detailed upgrade plan is developed. This plan outlines the specific steps and timelines for the upgrade project. It includes activities such as data migration, customization and integration updates, testing, and user training. The plan also considers any potential impact on existing workflows, third-party integrations, and extensions.
During the upgrade, we ensure data integrity, system stability, and minimal disruption to business operations. Customizations and configurations are reviewed and adjusted as necessary.
Data migration is a crucial aspect of the upgrade project. It involves transferring data from the current system to the upgraded environment. This process requires careful planning, mapping, and validation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Then extensive testing is conducted throughout the upgrade project to validate the system's functionality and that it meets the organization's requirements. Followed by user training to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Roll-out
Global Rollouts are a core component in most of our project deliveries. Many customers have initiated a Dynamics 365 journey implementing the solution to one or a few countries with the objective of creating a Global Rollout for the subsequent rollouts. More often than not, though, momentum is lost after a few countries. Engage’s methodology can help keep focus and pace at the desired level.
Engage Group has a proven methodology utilizing components such as Clustered Go Live and Parallel Streams, all with the objective of shortening the Time for Value Realization. In addition, we also utilize our strong International Network to secure local consultants when needed, adding localization expertise or local language skills to simplify communication.

An Agile Team typically consists of resources from Engage and the customer working together on a common objective or Goal.
The work is conducted based on agile workways and the Success by Design framework developed by Microsoft.
Engage Group has well-defined documentation of roles necessary for delivering a predictable result with high quality.
Individuals on the team may have multiple roles, but when planning the project, the team allocated to the project is critical for the success of the project.
